The mortgage service was excellent. In particular, a huge, massive shout-out to David who handled our first mortgage and also our remortgage. He is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in providing excellent customer service. Dealing with anything related to housing/mortgages is very stressful, but genuinely the mortgage part was the most smooth (and quick!) of the entire ordeal due to how on the ball David was.
